Christina developed an early interest in painting, and animals. Her medium of choice is oil paint used on Arches watercolor paper. She graduated with a BFA at the University of Hartford under her mentors Dennis Nolan, Bill Thomson, and Doug Anderson. To keep herself busy, Christina is also a scenic painter at Custom Creations where she paints murals and mini golf course sculpts. When she's not painting she still enjoys reading her favorite bed time stories and talking Dr. Dolittle to her cat Hanzel. She continues to pursue a career in the children's market as well as doing freelance advertising and editorial illustration. Her favorite subject matters are furry animals and children which are strongly influenced by illustrators Scott Gustafson and Mary Jane Begin.
